When ordering with in-store pickup, an email including the invoice number and the parcel tracking number is sent to the customer.
iOS version:
Once the HopHop – Parcel app has been downloaded, enter the parcel tracking number or click on the email link to automatically enter the tracking number.

Web version:
Go to parcel.hophop.ca and enter the parcel tracking number or click on the email link to automatically enter the tracking number.
Upon requesting the pickup of your parcel, two options will be available:
HopHop with GPS
When using this function, the application will automatically send your parcel’s request for preparation when you are within a radius that corresponds to the time required for the store (example 5 minutes) to prepare your parcel. By using your GPS position, the store will not see your position; it will calculate the time before your arrival, and thus send the request to the store and ensure the parcel is ready upon your arrival. Even if you encounter unforeseen events during your trip, the application will update the store on the arrival time.
HopHop without GPS
iOS version:
This function is used to provide the store with an exact time of your arrival. The application will not adjust the time of arrival if there are unforeseen events during your trip. This method is useful for people who walk to the store or live within a radius less than 5 minutes by car.

After requesting to pick up the parcel, it is possible to use the cell phone’s navigation system to get to the store.

You can follow the preparation progress of your parcel when a pickup request is ongoing.
iOS version:
When you arrive in the radius corresponding to the preparation time of your parcel, the store will receive the request to prepare your item. At this stage, the state of the preparation indicates In progress.
When your parcel is ready, the store will press on an indicator and the status of the parcel becomes Ready. You will receive a notification if you have mobile data and if you have activated the notification option when installing the app.
If the store delivers your parcel at a specific parking spot, press the ‘I’m here’ button to tell the store you arrived.
Once the pickup is over , the store will confirm it. This is the final step and the preparation status becomes “Picked up at “Time”.
Web version:
When you arrive in the radius corresponding to the preparation time of your parcel, the store will receive the request to prepare your item. At this stage, the state of the preparation indicates Request Sent.
When the store staff accepts the pickup request and starts preaparing the parcel, the state of the preparation indicates Preparing.
When your parcel is ready, the store will press on an indicator and the status of the parcel becomes Ready.

It is possible to chat with the store staff during the pickup process.

Yes, when you request a pickup, a text field will be available. This field will indicate “Message for center (optional).” Click in the field and type a message for the store staff to see.
